WeexperimentallydemonstratethetopologicalFaradayeffect– thepolarizationrotationcausedbytheorbitalangularmomentumoflight. It is found that the Faraday effect of the optical vortex beam passing trough a transparent magnetic dielectric film differs from the Faraday effect for a plane wave. The additional contribution to the Faraday rotation depends linearly on the topological charge..

 报告人简介：Andrei Fedorov博士是俄罗斯量子中心初级研究员。主要从事新型辐射探测器的研究工作，包括磁性材料中闪烁体辐射探测器时间分辨、中子探测器等方面的研究，最近的研究发现光学涡旋光束通过透明磁介质膜的法拉第效应具有明显的拓扑特性。在IEEE等学术期刊发表论文30多篇。
